Chris specializes in industrial real estate with a focus on the I-96 West Corridor market spanning from Southwest Oakland County to Livingston County. He began his real estate career with Signature Associates in 2020 and has since risen to Principal. During that time, he has completed over 400 transactions totaling approximately 5 million square feet, building one of the most active industrial practices along the corridor.

In February 2026, Chris earned the SIOR designation, a credential reserved for commercial real estate brokers who have demonstrated a proven track record of significant transaction volume and industry experience. He is excited to leverage that network to help clients with their industrial real estate requirements across the globe. Chris is passionate about commercial real estate and is committed to partnering with clients to help them achieve their goals.

Chris was introduced to the industry while working for his father’s company, D’Angelo Construction Corp., an experience that provided him with a strong foundation and deep appreciation for the industrial real estate world he works in today.

Outside of the office, you can find Chris spending time with his wife and daughter, playing lacrosse, basketball, and pickleball, golfing, or logging miles on a run.

As CEO of Swisher Commercial, I am confident in the commercial real estate marketing and advisory services that we bring to SE Michigan. I am a front-runner in the marketing of build-to-suit and build-to-lease commercial real estate projects. I provide consulting services to developers, and have represented some of the largest developers/landlords in the area. Bart received his Bachelor's degree from The University of Michigan in 1984 and immediately began his career in commercial real estate. He received his State of Michigan Brokers license in 1987 and joined Swisher Commercial in 1989. Bart is President & CEO of Swisher Commercial.

Bart and his wife, Tricia, live in Scio Township. They have four children and four grandchildren. Tricia teaches pilates/fitness classes and theatre arts. All of the Wise family enjoys athletics, the arts, and the outdoors.

Mr. DePonio is a key member of L. Mason Capitani CORFAC International's established Industrial Properties Division and he is instrumental in defining the direction and structure of both current and incoming agents on the team. Mr. DePonio is widely credited with implementing growth strategies that have paved the way for the firm to exclusively list over nine million square feet of industrial property in the region. He continually increases his market share by building long-term relationships with both institutional and entrepreneurial clients. His experience as a licensed builder has benefited him in the completion of several build-to-suit transactions on behalf of his clients. Mr. DePonio has shown an innate ability to relate to both the nuances of the transaction as well as the economic feasibility of the project. Mr. DePonio has completed many of the largest single transactions in the region including the sale of the 730,000 former Visteon plant in Chesterfield Township on two different occasions. His diligent hard work sets the tone for the firm as one the top producers year in and year out. Mr. DePonio is a graduate of Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. He is also a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).
